We like the King Crab with Avocado and Watermelon, Tuna Carpaccio in citrus ponzu with wasabi mayo dressing, popcorn shrimp and blackened cod served with broccoli.

4. Tom Aikens – Muse
Nestled in a quiet lane in BelgraviaTom Aikens has opened a stylish new restaurant in London called Muse. Tom Aikens, one of the most famous British chefs, was the youngest British Chef to ever receive two Michelin stars at the age of 26.
The restaurant is spread over two floors in an old Georgian mews. Both floors have open kitchens. Only 25 seats are available, so diners get a great view of food preparation and can also ask chefs questions.
We tried the six course tasting menu at £95, which leaves you feeling pleasantly full but not overwhelmed. There’s also a three course lunch menu and a ten course tasting menu, priced at £145.
Each dish is beautifully executed, and it’s a treat for your eyes as well. One of the most popular dishes is Sea Lavender, served in a handmade ceramic bowl, with mackerel, daikon, sesame purée and kombu.
We have a personal favourite. The EssenceThe recipe is made from ingredients sourced directly from a Norfolk farmer. Beetroot, when combined with nasturtium, blood orange and fermented cucumber is an impressive dish.

VyTA offers authentic Italian food at Covent Garden. VyTA is located in a great location at Covent Garden Piazza. It has two terraces on the first floor and a large ground floor.
Decor is stylish and elegant, with orange velvet seats, dark green walls, and gold accents. This same attention to details is evident in the food.
Executive Chef Dino De Bellis, a Roman native, has designed a menu which is true to its Roman roots. The dishes such as boneless lamb rack and mixed mushroom risotto are beautifully presented and perfectly seasoned.
Dessert is the Gianduja tartelette with caramelized hazlenuts, red berries, and vanilla.

6. Geode Restaurant and bar
Geode Restaurant and Bar epitomizes sophistication and elegance. Tucked away in a quaint Beauchamp Place is a townhouse. In Knightsbridge is a culinary treasure that offers delicious Mediterranean and Asian cuisines. Geode is the brainchild of Salvatore Broccu, formerly of the Novikov Group.

The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their menu. They will go the extra mile to ensure your dining experience was perfect. Geode’s expert sommelier will guide you on your choice of wine – in my case a low acidity one for health reasons!
Some of the standout dishes included the vitello tonnato, seabass with yuzu, truffle and watermelon in the traditional Gallega style, as well as the seabream tartare served with watermelon. Keep room for the Paris Brest pastry dessert, and the Japanese Cheesecake with strawberry and Shiso compote.

Fazenda is a stylish Brazilian restaurant chain that specializes in rodízio-style dining. It offers an unlimited selection of different grilled meats which are carved at the table.
In the rodízio style, servers continuously bring succulent cuts of meat like picanha (rump steak), lamb, fillet steak, chicken, and Brazilian sausages to each table until diners signal they are full.
In addition to the rodízio meats, there is an extensive gourmet salad bar with hot and cold Brazilian appetizers. Fazenda’s grilled pineapple is a great way to finish your meal. The tabletop grill is a great way to cook your meal and enjoy dry-aged Iberico and picanha. There’s a good selection of snacks and small plates which are actually pretty filling.
Try the ovos com tomate with Dorset crab, a tasty blend of eggs, tomato and crab or the choriço naan with Requeijão cheese. The tuna tiborna is a delicious and simple snack made of roasted bread, garlic and olive oils.

There are three restaurants within the hotel. The Vintry Kitchen, for example, is one of them. There’s also the charming Roof Terrace Mercer The speakeasy cocktail bar is located in the basement of a historic building called Do Not Disturb.
Vintry Kitchen specializes in Asian tapas. They have some delicious small plates like tea smoked babyback ribs or cod grilled yuzu with fennel and dashi. The padron peppers with sesame and miso are a great starter.
The beef tartare is also a must-try for meat lovers. It features truffle, miso, soy yolk, crispy shallots and a truffle egg yolk. Don’t miss the wagyu katsu sando, the teriyaki sea trout and the sweet and spicy fried peanut chicken with pickled daikon.
We recommend finishing with the matcha green-tea opera cake, berry sorbet or the lychee & sake koi. These aren’t actually fish but they’re shaped just like them!

Friendly staff can guide you through the menu, and recommend Portugese wine. The 850 Vinho Tinto Douro was a well-balanced red wine from the famous Douro region. The wine paired well with the food we tried.
We recommend the warming fish stew, the fish and tiger shrimp moqueca or the arroz de marisco seafood rice. Finish off with a delicious pudim Casa de Santo Amaro, with Madeira and orange or a white-chocolate serradura with raspberry and white chocolate.
