Ducati isn’t new to collaborations with car-makers but its latest project involving its striking Diavel partners with Bentley This futuristic piece of art is truly a masterpiece. Inspired by limited edition Batur supercarThis is a special Diavel, and only 500 units will be produced. A numbered series of fifty motorbikes will be reserved exclusively for Bentley customers. Revealed At The ‘fuorisalone’ event at Art Basel MiamiThis Diavel is a replica of the Batur, a beast with 740PS of which only 18 were built.
Centro Stile DucatiIn collaboration with Bentley designers, created a special design for this motorbike, including the Scarab Green color which is from the Bentley Mulliner pallete and used throughout the bodywork.
Many of Batur’s features are carried over to the Diavel V4 in its various parts. The forged rims that were designed and made for this motorcycle are shaped like those on cars and painted Dark Titanium Satin. Some machined surfaces can be seen.
The side intakes mirror the Batur’s two-tone grille. It is easily recognizable. The triangular extractors at the rear refer to the respective elements of the vehicle. The front mudguards, fairings and upper view of tanks recall the ribs found on the front bonnet. While the single-seater, removable tail that can be converted into a passenger seat takes styling cues directly from the Batur rear. Many bodywork components, including the fenders, engine cover, radiator and exhaust cover, side panels, and tailpiece, are made from carbon fibre.
The rider’s seat, in black Alcantara, is inspired by the interior of the car and the red fabric is the same as that of the Batur seats with the Bentley Logo embroided on the rear pad. The cover of the dual outlet exhaust has been redesigned so that it harmonizes with the refined lines.
The 50 Diavel for Bentley Mulliner motorbikes The Diavel will only be available to Mulliner’s customers who, in collaboration with Ducati’s Centro Stile designers, can configure it for them. Bentley Mulliner The saddle, brake callipers on the front, carbon fiber parts, and rims can be painted in different colors. They will also be able to choose the same colour as their car for the bodywork parts or one of those from an exclusive palette selected by Mulliner’s designer for this special and highly exclusive series.
Diavel would match perfectly the Batur’s striking design, which is also the final 12-cylinder Bentley.
