The two-day will host 30 prestigious exhibitors, featuring over 300 distinctive whiskies and expressions. The participating booths will offer visitors a variety of whiskies to taste at unbeatable rates. Delights like the highly sought-after Currach Single Malt Irish Whiskey or the Atlantic Kombu Cask, you’ll get to traverse the world of spirits.

    We present the best spirits for both spirit enthusiasts and beginners. We examine a variety of liquid treasures to highlight some of the most impressive spirits.

    Currach Atlantic Kombu Apple Ice Wine Cask, Exclusive to Whisky Journey

    Triple distilled Irish whiskey made from 100% Irish malted barley is the result of meticulous ageing. It is first matured in ex-bourbon American oak barrels and then finished in virgin American oak casks charred with Atlantic Kombu Irish seaweed. The whisky in this Whisky Journey is given an additional finish by a Rare Killahora Apple Ice Wine Cask.

    These casks hail from Killahora Orchards, where their Apple Ice Wine are made from their rare, bittersweet apples that are grown on the south-facing slopes of Ireland’s County Cork. The fermentation and freezing temperatures further shape the dessert wine. You get sweet notes of butterscotch, green apple, and dark chocolate, which complement the roast coffee, dark cocoa, and umami flavours from the Atlantic Kombu seaweed casks.

    This limited edition bottling has been bottled at cask strength, without caramel colouring and non-chill-filtered.

    Exclusive to 2023, Tipperay single cask release Quaich Bar.

    This single cask is made from barley grown in the United States. It’s a celebration for opulence. These limited editions, which are only 79 bottles each, embrace the essence of both sherry & port. With a rich sherry scent and the image of a soft campfire, you are in for a sensory adventure.

    Resonating with sweet sherry, a melange of fruits—apples, pears, and dried figs—the palate is further suspended in a toffee symphony, which leads to a lingering, fruit-laden finish. If there’s any gem that’s coveted, you don’t have to look too far than this from Quaich Bar.

    That Boutique-y Whisky Company: Bowmore 22 Year Old Scotch – Batch 25 (Exclusive Bottling For Proof & Company)

    From the heart of Islay’s oldest distillery, Bowmore remains a steadfast a testament to resilence, time and a little upright fist towards the establishment. This particular release is bottled from a single sherry butt, aged since November 1998 and is solely reserved for Proof & Company. Aged in Bowmore’s fabled Vault No. The vault is situated closest to the ocean, making it a perfect place for this distinguished elixir.

    That Boutique-y Whisky Company: Springbank 23 Year Old – Batch 28

    Springbank Distillery’s twenty-eighth release is a rare treasure. It contains only 383 bottles of 48.92% ABV that are 23 years old. Springbank Distillery is the only distillery to malt its entire barley needs using its floor maltings. This particular batch, distilled in November of 1996, was produced by Springbank. Nurtured in Sherry and Madeira butts and an American bourbon barrel, this batch is an embodiment of Springbank’s commitment to quality and self-sufficiency.

    Bruichladdich’s Mystery Unveiling

    There is talk of a mysterious launch under the Bruichladdich brand. No images or information are available, but this secret will be revealed only to Whisky Journey 2023 attendees who love Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Octomore.
