    After that, ownership passed to various families before being settled with the Mounts who have owned this property since 1759. John Mount, the person who bought the estate, ran a very successful London-based map publishing company.

    This long lineage of stewardship and family has given the estate a sense of continuity and conservation. Wasing Estate’s evolution has seen it embrace modernity, while still respecting its history.

    The estate has become one of Britain’s most beautiful wedding venues. It offers unique outdoor activities such as wild-swimming and sauna facilities. Concerts and festivals are also held there.

    Recently, we attended their Solstice on the Mount musical event – an amazing experience. Guests walk along an illuminated wooded trail, stopping at shrines as they go.

    The longest day of the calendar year is the Summer Solstice. Solstice in the Mount is The festival is a celebration for music and community. The lineup for the annual event includes diverse genres, such as contemporary pop and folk.

    Solstice is a festival held in nature that has attracted artists of renown such as Ben Howard and Jack Johnson. Nick Mulvey, Rodrigo y Gabriela and other artists performed on the mainstage.

    Hilltop is also included in VIP (hospitality tickets). The Hilltop is a beautiful space with panoramic views of the Ampitheatre. It has its own bar, loos, and fast track hospitality access.

    All concert goers can access the Food GladeThere are many stalls in which you can buy dishes from all around the globe. There’s an accessible viewing area available to Accessible ticket holders, and parking close to the concert site.

    Solstice On The Mount has many magical elements, but one of the most popular is the Fireside Sessions. They are held after the main stage acts have finished.

    The attendees make their way towards the Sacred GladeThen, take a seat by the fire and enjoy some truly magical performances. Ajeet gave a mesmerizing performance, and we also heard great things about Awarë’s set but we were too tired to stay up for it.

    You can, however, see the sunrise with a fun ceremonial procession if you’re fit enough. There are bell tents available for rent and camping is also an option.

    This Grade II listed property can accommodate up 140 guests. Castle BarnWasing Estate is the perfect backdrop for memorable wedding banquets. The glass-walled courtyard is also a great place to host a wedding. Garden Room The bi-folding doors and the tranquil environment make this a perfect setting for wedding ceremonies.

    Couples can exchange their vows in medieval Parish Church of St NicholasIt is located conveniently opposite the accommodation. The beautiful stained-glass windows and wooden elements make this a wonderful place to host a traditional ceremony.

    The estate hosts a variety of workshops and classes centered around sustainable wellness. On Monday evenings there are yoga classes. Wim Hof Day retreats, sound baths and breathwork sessions are also offered.

    In the heart of Wasing Estate is the Wild Swim and Sauna experience. It offers an unique way to relax and connect with the natural world. The estate’s natural lake provides an idyllic setting for wild swimming, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the tranquil waters while taking in the picturesque surroundings.     Wasing is located in West Berkshire just 52 miles away from London. It’s also only 9 miles from Newbury, and 12 minutes to Reading. The estate can be easily accessed by taxi or car with the M4 nearby.

    The estate is surrounded by verdant countryside and picturesque villages such as Aldermaston or Brimpton. The estate’s rural setting offers a private oasis set within 4,000 acres of scenic beauty.
