The completely redesigned ‘S650’ Mustang Dark Horse by Ford boasts a naturally aspirated Gen-4 Coyote 5.0-liter V8. Ford upgraded this beast with GT500 connectiing rods and dual throttle bodies, resulting in an official rating of 500 horsepower. The 2024 Dark Horse offers a choice between a Tremec 6-speed manual (3.73 gears) or Ford’s 10-speed automatic (3.55 gearing), both equipped with upgraded multi-piston Brembo performance brakes on all axles.
