Everyone is embracing sports spirit and getting ready for the Summer Olympics in Paris. Many brands have also tapped into this Olympic craze, and are now launching a new range of products inspired by sports. Some have obtained licensing agreements from the International Olympic Committee, while others produce sporting-inspired items to honor the games. The games are being held in the fashion capital and they’re sponsored by LVMH. This has made the build-up to the event more luxurious than before. LUXUO compiled a list ahead of the Paris Olympic Games of new clothing and accessories to celebrate the global sporting events.

Montblanc Meisterstück x Olympic Heritage Collection
Launched to celebrate the centenary of MontBlanc’s iconic Meisterstück fountain pen, the brands’s new collection also pays homage to the 100th anniversary of the Olympic Games Paris 1924 and the Olympic Winter Games Chamonix 1924. The luxurious writing instruments are included as part of the IOC’s Olympic Heritage Collection, which offers products featuring art and design elements from previous Games editions, honouring sporting spirit and connecting fans and collectors with the rich heritage of past Olympic Games. The 1924 games were especially notable given that the first Olympic Winter Games, were held with MontBlanc in Chamonix, France, in the same year the first Meisterstück was introduced to customers.
The Meisterstück x Olympic Heritage Paris 1924 Special Edition features the official red colour of the Olympic Games Paris 1924 and a handcrafted solid gold nib, intricately embellished with a javelin thrower, to reference a vintage Olympic poster from the same Games in 1924. The collection is adorned with multiple references of Olympic iconography, such as the instantly recognisable Olympic ring and heritage logo. The caps of all the pens are engraved with the words “Olympic Winter Games Chamonix 1924”, and the cap top ring is adorned with the Olympic Heritage emblem and the Olympic rings, while the Montblanc emblem on the cap top is set in coral-coloured resin.
Omega’s Speedmaster Chronoscope Special Edition
Omega celebrates its role as the official timekeeper for the Olympics, which it has held since 1932. It is doing so with two new Speedmaster Chronoscopes. The two chronograph models are 43mm cases in stainless steel, Moonshine or gold with a tachymeter bezel. Launched exactly 100 days ahead of the 26th July opening ceremony, the launch was intended to ignite the spirit and countdown. They come with a closed case commemorative back engraved with the “Paris 2024” logo, a medallion depicting the Olympic flame, the Olympic ring iconography five rings against a finely grained surface.

Lacoste “Olympic Heritage” Collection
Lacoste released a collection that was inspired by the Olympic Games of 1924 in Paris. Named “Olympic Heritage”, the collection pays homage to French sport and heritage and draws inspiration from vintage styles. Painted in red, white and blue, the collection of polo shirts, bags, jackets and more, along with the colours suggestive of the French flag, aim to embody the spirit of “sportsmanship and French elegance”.
The limited edition collection also celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Olympic Games Paris 1924, which saw Lacoste founder René Lacoste win a bronze medal in the men’s singles tennis event as per the official Olympics site. Additionally, “Jeux Olympiques Paris 1924” branding is present on all items in the collection, using the same typeface that was used on one of the iconic posters from the Games back in 1924.
Oakley “Offshore” Collection
Oakley has partnered up with Team USA Surfing as the “Official Offshore Outfitters” for the teams second appearance in the Olympic games. The sleek yet functional collection features windbreakers, rash guards and elevated eyewear among others which were “tailored specifically for non-competition mode”. The clothing is crafted with breathable fabrics and ergonomic seaming. It also features intentional trim details.
Oakley’s apparel design director Massimo Nicosia shares his though process, “Inspired by the ocean colours and reflections, our designs and prints draw inspiration from the natural beauty and velocity of the waves, which athletes set in motion during competition and in turn empower them to proudly showcase their Team USA pride after their performance in the water”.
Maje
Maje ensued the help of French rising pentathlon star Élodie Couvel to be the face of their latest athleisure capsule that combines French elegance with athletic flair. The French brand combines sport silhouettes such as stripped track pants and loose satin shorts with fashionable details in order to create a harmonious combination of luxe fashion and sports. The presence of French athlete Élodie Couvel is used to convey the message that “Maje appreciates the active woman with this new collection, all while not sacrificing luxury in the process.”

Camille Fornet
Camille Fornet’s launch of a sport-inspired accessory, a luxury leather product maker and French businesswoman, is inspired by the Olympic fever. The collection pays homage to elegance and performance, citing the shared qualities between sports and craftsmanship, striving for the the “same quest for excellence, precision and efficiency”. The collection consists of reworked classics from the sporting world, such as a boxing glove, tennis racket, volleyball, and card holders based on sports tracks. Pictured above, the tennis racket case dons the Olympic ring colours and was made by master artisans with the brand’s traditional pleating technique.
Nike “Blueprint Pack”
Nike is one of sporting’s biggest brands, so it comes as no surprise that they have released an Olympic collection in anticipation of these highly anticipated Games. The newly released Nike “Blueprint pack” is the brands most technologically advanced collection yet, featuring their proprietary Air technology to better serve athletes on the world’s greatest sporting stage. The shoes in the collection sport similar appearances, but include different characteristics for each shoe to maximise performance, this includes — updated spikes for track athletes, the Nike Victory 2 and Nike Maxfly 2, the new basketball shoes, the lifestyle shoe, Nike G.T. Hustle 3 is the most technologically advanced football boot yet, and it’s 2024 Nike Mercurial.
The “Blueprint” Pack, pays homage to company cofounder Bill Bowerman and his desire with enabling the best possible athlete performance through technological advancements. Nike uses digital capabilities and cutting edge technology to create a new super cycle.
