    Missoma opens first Leeds store

Missoma has opened its first store outside of London in Redical’s Victoria Leeds.

The British jewellery brand, which opened its latest store on Friday 16 August, is Missoma’s second-ever permanent store, following the opening of the Covent Garden store in November 2023.

Located in Victoria Quarter’s County Arcade with a footprint of 2,250 sq ft, Missoma’s split-level flagship store has been purposefully designed with curved edges and contrasting tones.

Marisa Hordern, founder and creative director, and her team have worked to evolve the brand’s signature palette of earthy hues, including apricot tan, rust, cool blue, pistachio, and new malachite.

A mirrored ceiling and a giant animated display, neon signs, a custom panelled checkerboard flooring, and a collage are all intricate details.

Missoma Leeds also has its largest Piercing Studio with exclusive piercing screws.

The Welding studio offers 14ct gold permanent bracelets, as well as welding charms.

The brand offers free engraving on all gifts bought in store.

The new store showcases the brand’s collection of gold and silver pieces, including its popular collaborations with fashion designers and style icons, Harris Reed, Savi and Lucy Williams.

Missoma’s collections are handcrafted using 100% certified recycled gold and silver, with the 14ct solid gold pieces carefully created with conflict-free diamonds, emeralds, baroque pearls, and blue sapphires.

Rachel Bradburn, leasing director at Victoria Leeds, said: “Missoma selecting Victoria Leeds as the destination for its first store outside of London reinforces our reputation as a renowned destination offering opportunities for brands to confidently embark on regional growth in the UK. We are excited to be a part of Missoma’s journey and to welcome customers through the door to explore exceptional demi-fine jewellery.”

Marisa Hordern, founder and creative director at Missoma, added: “Community is at the heart of what we do, and Victoria Leeds offers a highly engaging environment that aligns perfectly with our values. We aim to inspire confidence and encourage self-expression in all our customers and are excited to grow our Leeds community and embark on this next chapter.”
