Malone Souliers crafts classic footwear and bags that focus on innovative design, enduring style, and the perfect fit. Today, the company announced a unique and exciting shoe collaboration with Tabitha Simmons.
This sees the stylist and fashion editor bring her design experience to the brand, working alongside Malone Souliers’ Co-Creative Directors, Coco Fong and Valerio Bava, for a collection that celebrates an organic synergy between the two female-founded, British brands.
Nodding to Tabitha Simmons’ iconic brand DNA and stylishly merging it with Malone Souliers’ signature design codes it has resulted in fun, fresh, and timeless pieces, that have been made to be cherished for a lifetime. Tabitha Simmons’ much-loved shoe collections are defined by their English eclecticism and charm, and these qualities have informed this new offering. As expected, the attention paid to the finest materials, creative detailing, and perfect fit was not overlooked.
“Working with Tabitha felt like such a natural step for us. This partnership brings together shoe lovers to create an irresistible, ultimate shoe capsule. The pieces highlight a harmony between Tabitha’s inimitable design preferences and our own signature brand details,” Malone Souliers’ Co-Creative Director, Coco Fong, and Valerio Bava, are both creative directors. Tabitha Simmons adds, “The project was a total joy to work on with Coco, Valerio and their team. I have loved revisiting my archives and this collaboration really showcases our combined DNA”.
The campaign highlights the shoes, set in pastel backdrops that create an inspirational narrative. The silhouettes have been taken from iconic Tabitha Simmons designs and then reimagined with playful whimsy by Coco & Valerio. Think sleek mules and sweet ballet pumps wearing textured and pattern jacquards, as well whimsical bow embellishments, highlighting the theme of sexy, sumptuousness.
The Cameron slingback features a satin-covered upper with floral crystal embellishments arranged in an arrangement that resembles brogue detailing. Liberty’s net mesh pump adds a contemporary twist to a classic style and is embellished with ribbon. Another head-turner is the Kate, a Mary-Jane flat pump, reminiscent of one of Tabitha Simmons’ most popular silhouettes.
