Kiki McDonough Ltd. has recently been certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council.
As a RJC member, a brand is committed to conducting its business in accordance with RJC Code of Practices Standard. They will do this by integrating ethical and human rights considerations, as well as social and environmental concerns, into their day-to-day activities, business planning and decision making processes.
The RJC is the world’s “leading” sustainability standard setting organisation for the jewellery and watch industry.
The Code of Conduct is the only industry standard that covers the entire jewellery and watch supply chains. Every three years, an independent audit by a third party is required to maintain accreditation.
Sian Daley, managing director at Kiki McDonough, said: “As we approach our 40th anniversary milestone in 2025, we recognise that corporate responsibility is more important than it has ever been.
“We are committed to working with our supply chain and all stakeholders to ensure we develop a more responsible business approach across all touch points.”
She added: “This is a journey that entails retrospective and ongoing dedication with a sustainable led approach in all that we do.”
