The Oosterdam is one of Holland America’s Vista-class ships. The Oosterdam can accommodate upto 1964 guests and has a tastefully designed public area for maximum comfort. The ship is surrounded by luxury amenities. Passengers will enjoy exceptional dining, pampering in the spa or relaxing by the 2 pools.
Holland America Oosterdam Cabins
Holland America Oosterdam cabins are spacious and well appointed. You can choose from interior staterooms or ocean view staterooms. Many cabins have a verandah, where you can relax, enjoy the view, and soak up the elegant colors.
These rooms come with a TV, a safe, and a blow-dryer. The aft cabin, 5184, was equipped with two single beds that were made into a queen bed, a sofa, chair, and desk with a stool. A convenient curtain was provided to separate the cabin from the hall. It worked well in blocking out any light during the night.
The balcony is a huge plus. We recommend this room or one nearby. It was 359 sq. feet, including the balcony space. Ours included two sun loungers with chairs.
The bathroom had a good design, including a bath with overhead shower and a retractable clothesline. There was also ample storage space for toiletries. Elemis dispensers for body wash, conditioner and shampoo were also nice touches. Navigator App lets you request extra hangers, a blanket or ice via the app.

Signature Suites vary in size from 372 to 384 square feet and include binoculars for use during the cruise, premium bathrobes, a double sink, shower and full size whirlpool bath.
Neptune Suites They range in size between 500 and 712 square feet. Two lower beds can be converted into one king size bed. There’s a full-size whirlpool bath with shower and an additional shower stall. Neptune Suite Guests can enjoy the exclusive Neptune Lounge as well as many other benefits such as priority boarding of tenders, laundry for free and priority booking at restaurants.
Pinnacle Suites All of the above are included in the 1,150-square-foot suite, which also includes a whirlpool bath on the balcony. There is also a dressing room, pantry, and a guest bathroom. Pinnacle Grill serves breakfast to guests of the Neptune Suite and Pinnacle Suite.

The main Dining Room This is the perfect place for those who want a relaxing breakfast or an elegant evening meal. The Dining Room is an open seating restaurant, so you don’t need to book, but reservations are recommended during peak hours. Dining Room hours of operation are 6:30 am to 8:30 am, and 5 pm to 9:00 pm.
The ship is also equipped with the Dive-In Open from 11:30 to 5:30, the poolside grill serves burgers and hot dogs. The burgers were great and we loved the tacos that you can make yourself.
Head to the Lido Market On Deck 9, you can enjoy casual dining. The chefs here celebrate the flavors of every port with a variety of delicious dishes. The Asian food station, sweet treats and healthy salads are all recommended. From 10.30 to 11:30 you can enjoy complimentary late snacks.
Additional costs will apply. Pinnacle Grill Restaurant on Deck 2, Mid. Canaletto Specialty restaurant on Deck 9 mid offers a more intimate dining experience. You can enjoy the breathtaking views and gourmet food no matter what option you select.

The pampering is available in many forms. Greenhouse Spa & Salon Deck 9 In this thermal suite, you can enjoy a relaxing spa treatment or massage. We purchased a seven-day pass. We used the relaxation area, steam rooms, and whirlpool daily.

The Retreat is a private outdoor area with cabanas and sunbeds. There’s also a bar that serves guests exclusively.
