The independent Swiss watch brand Edouard Koehn is continuing to develop its collections with its new World Heritage II model equipped with a new guilloché dial and a new Universal Time display, combined with a fine alligator leather strap that enhances the richness of this very watchmaking piece. This limited edition, classic, contemporary watch in grade 5 Titanium, features a Universal Time display and an alarm.
Edouard Koehn’s new World Heritage II model offers two complications that are very rare in the market: the universal time and alarm function. Travelers will find these two complications extremely useful, as one allows them to quickly see the time in each of the 24 time zones and the alarm function allows them to get up on time for their flight.
To give this classic timepiece, very sixties in its design, a contemporary edge, this Edouard Koehn comes in a 42 mm case, water-resistant to 50 meters. The watch is made from grade 5 titanium, which is hypoallergenic and extremely lightweight. It also provides a good acoustic response when the alarm sounds.
The central disc rotates in 24 hours and shows the main cities of each time zone. Two large Alpha hands with luminescent material mark the passing of time, combined with applied hour-markers on a splendid guilloché dial in a choice of ice-blue, navy blue, green, silver and anthracite colours. The entire circumference of the dial is dedicated to the alarm, and each hour is divided into 15 minute segments. The alarm time can be set using the crown at 4 o’clock, and is indicated by a fine hand with a red arrowhead.
This universal collection of time-alarms is equipped with an exclusive mechanical movement, developed in partnership with Concepto. Concepto is an independent Swiss manufacturer of high-end mechanical clock movements. It has a double barrel and beats at 4Hz. The power reserve is generous, with a 48-hour capacity.
