Estiatorio Milos
Get your slice of Greece at Marina Bay Sands’ newest dining experience, Estiatorio Milos. The first in Asia, savour fresh and authentic Greek cuisine with the freshest ingredients flown from Greece and the Mediterranean. As you wine and dine in the Grecian-inspired dining space, indulge in dishes like the Milos Special consisting of a tower of crispy zucchini and eggplant with tzatziki—a salted yoghurt and cucumber dip—hidden within and saganaki cheese, a choice of either Loup de Mer, Milokopi, or Rofos fish baked in sea salt, and sweet baklava with almonds, thyme-honey from the island of Kythira, and hand-made Kaimaki ice-cream.

Cure
Singapore’s culinary scene gets a taste of Ireland as Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, partners with Cure for an exclusive month-long showcase. Award-winning chef-owner Andrew Walsh has curated a special menu highlighting premium Irish seafood, duck, and cheese, paired with sweet cocktails. This collaboration celebrates Irish food’s commitment to sustainability, championed by Bord Bia’s Origin Green program. From 30 July to 31 Aug 2024, gourmets can enjoy this menu for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday.

Takahashi Singapore
We don’t know why it took us forever to make a trip here, but boy, was it well worth the splurge! It is the first international outpost of the famous Takahashi restaurant in Tokyo. This place is known for its omakase, a Japanese dining experience. Led by chef Rinto Sasagawa, a protégé of renowned chef Jun Takahashi, Takahashi Singapore brings the refined elegance of Japanese cuisine to our little red dot. The intimate 12-seater space is designed to evoke the serenity of Zen, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The restaurant offers a tranquil atmosphere, kaiseki dishes and sushi that is meticulously crafted. You must try this dish called the “Uni Mountain”, featuring all the uni you can ingest, topped over a delicious piece of perfectly-vinegared sushi rice. Menu options range from the lunch menu (from $180++), to the signature dinner omakase (from $320 ++),) with carefully chosen sake pairings.

Choon Hoy Parlour
Chef Dylan Ong—the main behind Franco-Asian restaurant The Masses, and now defunct Saveur—has opened a restaurant named after his mother. Choon Hoy Parlor is a tribute to “Singapore Soul Food,” which combines heirloom recipes with modern interpretations to connect generations. The restaurant’s menu features traditional dishes like Teochew Braised Duck ($49) and Pork Leg Trotter Jelly ($8.90) from Dylan’s family, alongside classics such as Hainanese Kampong Chicken (from $17.90) and Teochew Steam Fish (market price).
Innovative twists include Ulam ($15.90) and White Pepper Pig’s Stomach Collagen Soup ($25.90), showcasing a blend of authenticity and creativity. Dylan and chef Benji Chiw have collaborated to create a multicultural menu of heritage recipes that are popular with Singaporeans. The dining experience at Choon Hoy Parlor emphasises accessibility and value, with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes at affordable prices. You can order the communal menu for a minimum of three persons at $49.90/person, or a la carte. Lunch sets are also available at $18.90/person and $24.90/person.

Na Oh
If you love destination dining, head to Jurong to dine at Korean restaurant Na Oh, led by the culinary genius of three-Michelin-star chef Corey Lee. Nestled within the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS)—all the way in Jurong—Na Oh reimagines traditional Korean cuisine with contemporary flair.
