For a special occasion, book a Turret Suite or a Deluxe Suite, some of which have four-poster beds. We liked the make your own Bloody Mary station at breakfast – first time we have seen one of these! If you’re looking for a place to unwind, the Billiards Room with its wooden vaulted ceiling is the perfect spot. You can challenge your friends to a game of billiards or read one of the numerous books. The cosy bar next to the Glasshouse Restaurant is another lovely spot.

Other fun activities are bookable laser clay shooting, archery lessons and falconry displays. You can book onto seasonal foraging workshops around the Cromlix estate and learn to identify native plants and mushrooms. Another fun bookable activity is the oils, spa salts and tea blends workshop.
At the beginning of December, there are bookable wreath-making workshops in the Garden Room. Guests will learn how to make their own wreath from local ingredients, and will enjoy afternoon tea in the Glasshouse Restaurant.
There’s a lovely selection of complimentary outdoor garden games that take place on the rear lawn. From the giant lawn chessboard to croquet, lawn putting and boules, you’ll be spoilt for choice! Try your hand at quoits, where you throw hoops over wooden pins to gain points.
For groups, Cromlix can organize their very own Highland games. Guests can partake in Highland dancing, tossing the caber, haggis hurling, tug o’war, hammer throwing and the Farmer’s Dash!

Dunblane is a picturesque town in Scotland with a rich history and culture. The town is known for its stunning architecture, including Dunblane Cathedral, which dates back to the 12th century. Spot the golden post box, commemorating Andy’s gold medal win in the 2012 Olympics men’s singles tennis.

Cromlix can also arrange a bespoke tour of three local Perthshire whisky distilleries. Alternatively, book a full day tour of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.

You can get here easily by taking a train to Dunblane. It’s then a short drive to Cromlix.
If you’re arriving by air, Edinburgh Airport is the nearest airport, located approximately 40 miles away from the hotel. The journey from the airport to the hotel takes around 45 minutes by car, and you can enjoy the scenic views of the countryside along the way.
