Famous U.K. pattern-forward brand, Clarke & Clarke, has partnered with interior designer Breegan Jane on her first textile and wallpaper collection, and it launches right in time for spring.
“My ‘modern, approachable luxury’ signature style allows me to create design derived from a host of visual influences. My collection is a reflection of the sights, sounds and scenes that I love most. Each time I visit Kenya, even from a standpoint of philanthropy, I’m completely overtaken by the lush, picturesque landscape. With every vacation I take to Ibiza I’m hypnotized by the vibrant nightlife and tranquil waters that redefine opulence and carefree living for me. LA’s iconic palm trees and understated elegance throughout the city are the roots of “home” for me as a southern California native. By incorporating elements from these locations that I frequent, I hope to instill hints of global beauty, comfort, and opulence into homes and interior spaces around the world.”
The collection includes eight wallpapers that are unique, printed on FSC-certified materials and sustainably sourced, as well as ten fabric patterns. It is a beautiful, bold and luxurious design with an eco-friendly, stylish aesthetic.

Tell us about Clarke & Clarke.
Clarke & Clarke embodies modern British interior design. With an eclectic mix of design styles, Clarke & Clarke’s collections offer the ultimate in versatile design. The collections are accessible and adaptable in interior settings. They also have a dynamic narrative that evolves based upon a knowledge of transitional style movements and tastes. There is something for everyone in the Clarke & Clarke portfolio, which we’re very proud of.
How did the collaboration with Breegan Jane come about?
Breegan and I met for the first time in LA, almost two year ago, over breakfast. There was an instant bond! Her infectious personality, enthusiasm for interiors and love of the industry made us feel a connection. Her love of texture and versatile interior style is such a match for Clarke & Clarke that we knew we had to find a way of working together, to combine our shared passions. We knew instantly that Breegan would be a great design collaboration for Clarke & Clarke.
How long has it been in the making?
It has been almost two years in the making and the Clarke & Clarke team has so enjoyed working with Breegan on this collection. The meeting of designers has been amazing!
What can we expect?
It’s a celebration of Breegan and her influences mixed with the classic signature of Clarke & Clarke. Sophisticated, glamorous, and with a global perspective from Breegan, we have retained that versatility of design that we’re known for, while still creating something very new and exciting.
What was the inspiration for the designs?
Breegan’s life and work have been a huge influence on the designs within the collection. Her philanthropic efforts and travels around the world have been a great inspiration for this collection.
This collection also takes into account how people want to live, and the patterns and colors they prefer. Breegan’s own home style was a great source of inspiration to us as Breegan has always tried to reflect the characters and personalities of her family in her own home. This collection was created to reflect a style which is individual, glamorous and easy-going.
Tell us about your production.
We work closely with all our suppliers to ensure the very best finish on our products and we’re so proud of how this collection has come together. We have printed the wallpapers in our UK-based factory using advanced digital printing technology. This has allowed us to create amazing mural wallpaper panels and beautiful fabrics. We are proud to produce our own wallpapers in the UK, and share them with the rest of the world.
