Christian Siriano has continued to amaze us season after season with calculated risks. In his Fall/Winter collection 2024, he reinvented glamour in a brilliant, captivating way.
Inspired by the 1965 novel and subsequent films, ‘Dune’, Siriano opted for futurism, as he re-envisioned what evening wear would look like in A desert of sci-fi and apocalyptic..
Imagine models strutting down the runway in New York City wearing vibrant oranges, reds, and metallics.
Siriano was a student of great designers like Alexander McQueen, Vivienne McQueen, and Vivienne Westwood. He developed a brand that became popular amongst the masses.
“In keeping with the essence of our Siriano custom, the Fall/Winter collection balances power and strength with soft, romantic elegance.” Said Siriano in a press release.
The runway show was a more forward-looking vision this season. Statement pieces were omnipresent, and we would have seen them on the Met Gala or red carpet.
Coco Rocha has become the quintessential Siriano poster girl. She looked amazing in a silk dress with tulle frills. Gold foil accents added to her hair gave it a ethereal feel and a modern touch.
Alicia Silverstone and Claire Sulmers, CEO of Fashion Bomb Daily, who wore a custom Christian Siriano outfit, were also in attendance. Sophia Bush, Ashlee Simmonds, Busy PhilippsAnd so many more.
