Christian Siriano celebrated his 15th anniversary at New York Fashion Week by presenting bold and modern ballerina silhouettes

It’s been a smashing 15 years since designer Christian Siriano, 37, debuted his first collection at New York Fashion Week, and to honor the celebratory moment, he showcased the most avant-garde designs with his celebrity fan base by his side.

Last Friday, the Pierre Hotel was awash with stars. From Avril Lavigne and Quinta Brunson to Laverne Cox, Kesha and the fierce Laverne Cox.

Not to mention Australian singer Sia, who also performed “Shine Bright Like a Diamond,” in a light pink dramatized ensemble with a huge bow on top of her bangs that covered half of her face.

Siriano has become a household word since he won Bravo TV Project Runway 2008 and it feels like that was not so long ago.

In honor of his 15th anniversary, he decided to pay homage to the ballet roots he has. We saw gowns with ruffles, tutus, and suiting layered with corsets.

The ombre metallic was also used in a very innovative and unexpected way. Siriano showed us the future of dancecore by incorporating silver, rose gold, and gold metallics in various variations. He was referring to the younger generation.

His tulle dresses were beautifully draped, and embellished with floral elements for a fantasy-like aesthetic. If anyone understands the power of femininity, it’s certainly Siriano who has proven time and again that he’s not new to this, but rather true to this.

It’s safe to say that Christian Siriano deserves all his flowers and more, and with his persistent effort to revolutionize the fashion world, his name will definitely go down in history.
