Nicolas Luchsinger has been appointed as the new CEO at Buccellati, effective 2 April 2024.
Luchsinger, currently president Asia Pacific at Van Cleef and Arpels, has matured an “extensive experience” of 17 years in Van Cleef and Arpels, covering different managerial roles as retail director and heritage director at HQ and market level.
Previously, Luchsinger also worked for almost 10 years at Christie’s.
Gianluca Brozetti, Buccellati’s current CEO, will retire on that date. However, he will continue as a director of Buccellati Holding Italia Spa and be given the title of executive Vice President.
Brozzetti has led the Buccellati Group for the last 10 years, leading its integration into Richemont in 2019 and playing a crucial role in developing the maison as a “much larger jewellery and silver worldwide player”.
Brozzetti’s new role will be to facilitate the complete transfer of the company from Luchsinger. He will retain direct responsibility for the expansion of manufacturing and consolidation.
Brozzetti will also keep the Maison’s representative role in the Industry Associations and in the partnership with Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana.
Bucellati said: “We wish Nicolas all the best for his new role and express thanks to Gianluca for the passionate leadership with which he has led the Maison so far.”
