    Boot Dusseldorf sets the stage for 2024

    Boot Dusseldorf’s 55th anniversary (January 20-28, 2019) will include world premieres of Riva, Wally, Galeon, Fairline, Axopar, Saxdor, Dufour, Jeanneau, and Moody. Featuring about 1,100 boats and more than 1,500 exhibitors this year, the world’s biggest indoor boat and watersports show covers 220,000sqm of exhibition space across 16 halls in Messe Dusseldorf.

    British builders Sunseeker and Princess are again the largest exhibitors in Hall 6, which is dedicated to the show’s largest luxury yachts.

    Presented with distributor Sunseeker London Group, Sunseeker’s nine-strong display includes the Europe debut of the Ocean 182, featuring a hull dressed in furniture by Italian studio Visionnaire. The enclosed-flybridge version of the Ocean 90, the Ocean 182 made its world premiere in the US last autumn and includes 182GT of volume, over 2,000sqft of interior space and twin 1,900hp MAN V12 engines for a top speed of 27 knots and a range of 1,100nm at 12 knots.

    Predator 75, unveiled at Southampton International Boat Show in September last year before its US debut the following month at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

    The Sunseeker display includes a special 95 Yacht – one of the show’s biggest boats and part of the Meros Yachtsharing programme – as well as an 88 Yacht, 76 Yacht, Manhattan 68, Predator 65, Manhattan 55 and Superhawk 55, the latter appearing a year after the model’s memorable world premiere in Hall 6.

    Andrea Frabetti, Sunseeker’s CEO, said: “We’re delighted to present the Ocean 182 and Predator 75 to the European market for the first time as we showcase a stunning line-up of yachts at Boot Dusseldorf. Our knowledgeable teams and distributors are on hand to answer questions, discuss customisation options, and guide future Sunseeker owners through the unique features of our yachts.”

    F1 star Esteban ocon will be the centre of attention as he appears on the Sunseeker Stand to promote Meros Yachtsharing. The new Sunseeker Meros Signature 95 is being showcased. The company offers co ownership programmes for two Sunseeker 95 yachts and a Sunseeker 86 yacht, offering fully crewed services and access to ten European destinations.

    On the opposite side of Hall 6, Princess is showing eight models headed by the Plymouth builder’s flagship X95 and including the Y85, X80, S72, F65, F55, V55 and V50 Deck.

    Fairline is staging the world premiere of its Targa 40, which features a fold-down side to starboard. The Oundle builder’s display includes the Phantom 65 sportfly, the new double-balcony Squadron 58, Targa 45 Open and Targa 45 GT. Pearl, another British brand, exhibits its 72 for a second successive year.

    Among Italian builders in Hall 6, Azimut is showing its Magellano 60, S7, Fly 53, Fly 68 and Fly 78, and Absolute is displaying its Navetta 58, Navetta 52, new 52 Fly and 48 Coupé.

    Ferretti Group is staging the world premieres of Riva’s 27ft El-lseo, the brand’s first full-electric model, and Wally’s wallypower50, which serves as a link between the more open style of the wallytenders (43, 48) and the more spacious wallypower 58.

    Ferretti Group boats in Hall 6 include two other Riva models, the Dolceriva (48ft) from the Open line and the 66’ Ribelle from the Sportfly series, as well as the powerful Pershing 7X (69ft) cruiser and a Ferretti Yachts 720 flybridge motor yacht.

    A Sanlorenzo SL90A asymmetric model displayed with dealer Sanlorenzo UK & Ireland is set to be among the largest yachts at Boot, a year after the Sanlorenzo SD90 was shown in Hall 6. Bluegame’s sister brand is exhibiting their BG74, BGX63 and BG54.

    Poland’s Galeon is staging the world premiere of the 435 GTO, the third and largest model in its Grand Touring Outboard series, along with the 440 Fly and 560 Fly that debuted last year, plus the 640 Fly.

    Prestige, part of Groupe Beneteau, is showing its 690 and new F4 flybridge motor yachts plus the French brand’s M48, which last year was the only multihull yacht in Hall 6.

    Superboats and Adventure Boats

    Jeanneau, also part of Groupe Beneteau, is displaying its boats across three halls, with the DB/43 and DB/37 inboard models in Hall 5, designated for ‘superboats’.

    Windy is staging the world premiere of the 29 Huracan, designed with Espen Øino, and showing the 34 Alizé, 40 Camira RS and SR44 Blackhawk. Other luxury day boats include Swan’s 42ft OverShadow, a new model from De Antonio Yachts, and the world premiere of the Invictus TT420S, the outboard version of the TT420.

    Sacs Tecnorib is launching 3.5m and 4.5m tenders by Christian Grande along with the Pirelli 35 and 42, Rebel 50G and Strider 10 and 11. Lomac presents the Adrenalina, Granturismo, and Turismo, all of which made their debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, last September.

    Axopar will be presenting the Axopar 29 in both its Sun-Top version and XC Cross Cabin version. The Finnish brand’s eight-strong display also includes the 22 Spyder, 25 Cross- Top, 37 Sun-Top and 37 XC Cross Cabin, and flagship 45 Cross Top and 45 XC Cross Cabin.

    Sister brand Brabus Marine’s display features world premieres of signature editions of the Shadow 1200 Cross Cabin Black Ops and Shadow 1000 XC Cross Cabin Black Ops, as well as the Shadow 300 Cross-Top.

    Saxdor’s display includes the world premiere of the 400 GTC, along with the 400 GTO that debuted at Cannes, 320 GTC, 320 GTO and 270 GTC.

    Nimbus’s strong line-up includes the W11 that debuted at Cannes last year, as well as a W9, T9, T11, C9, 305 Coupe, 365 Coupe and 405 Coupe. Nimbus Group will also present an update of the flagship 465 Coupe that is in the works, as well as a new concept yacht called Alukin Ocean Air.

    In Hall 4, Catana Group also presents the German debut of the Yot 36 – the first model under the new Powercat brand – which was presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

    Jeanneau’s motorboat display in Hall 1 comprises the Merry Fisher 895 Serie2, 895 Sport, 1095 Fly and 1295 Fly, along with the Cap Camarat 7.5 WA Serie3, 9.0 WA Serie2, 10.5 CC, 10.5 WA Serie2 and 12.5 WA.

    Beneteau’s outboard motorboats comprise three from the open Flyer line (8 Spacedeck, 9 Sundeck, 10) and four from the enclosed Antares weekender series (8, 9, 11, 12). Inboard models range from the Gran Turismo sport-cruisers (36, 41, 45) to the Swift Trawler 41, Swift Trawler48 and flagship Grand Trawler62.

    Hall 1 is where Bavaria will be displaying its S30, R40 Fly, R36 Open Top, (German premiere), and SR41. Halls 1 and 3 also feature Four Winns and Marex as well as Navan, Nautic. Parker, Regal. Schaefer, Sea Ray and Sea Ray.

    In Hall 9, Highfield Boats, the world’s leading aluminium-hulled RIB manufacturer, will stage the Germany debuts of the the Sport 560 and the Sport 800. The leisure-orientated Sport range uses the same hulls as Highfield’s professional-level Patrol RIBs, which are exceptionally seaworthy and feature deadrises of up to 26 degrees on the largest models.

    Mathilde Delfour, Managing Director Europe for Highfield Boats, said: “In underlining how the DNA of our boats identifies, our mantra ‘One Hull Two Worlds’ captures the essence of the Highfield Boats design and styling in the two very distinct Sport and Patrol ranges. Choose a Sport RIB for pleasure cruising and relaxing off the beach, or the exceptionally rugged Patrol for coastal exploration, rescue missions or major event control.”

    Highfield builds RIBs from 8-30ft and other ranges include Roll Up, Ultralite and Classic, while the European-managed, China-based manufacturer recently introduced a Classic E range of electric tenders. In the past 12 years, it has sold more than 47,000 RIBs.

    Sailing and More

    Among sailing yachts in Hall 16, Dufour is hosting the world premiere of the Dufour 44 beside the Dufour 41 and Dufour 530.

    Jeanneau debuts the Sun Odyssey 350 as well as exhibiting the Sun Fast 30 One Design and Sun Odysseys 410 and 44. Jeanneau Yachts is also showcasing the Jeanneau Yachts 55,000 The Oceanis Yacht 54, and the flagship 60. Beneteau’s sailing monohulls comprise four First models (18, 27, 36, 44), three from the Oceanis line (34.1, 37.1, 46.1) as well as its two largest sailing yachts, the Oceanis Yacht 54 and flagship 60.

    Bavaria will host the German Premiere of the C46, along with the C38, C42 C50 C57 Cruiser 34. Nautor Swan will display a Swan58 while Oyster will showcase the Oyster565 The Moody Decksaloon 48, sailing boats by Hanse and X-Yachts and a presentation stage are all part of Hall 15.
