
Asia Yachting Group (founded and led) by Olivier Besson is joining forces with BlackOrange. BlackOrange is a boutique superyacht broker headed by Greg Gheraia. Asia Yachting’s new yacht portfolio includes Prestige, Fountaine Pajot and Nautique, while BlackOrange focuses on 30m-plus superyachts and remains a standalone brand within Asia Yachting Group.
Besson, Asia Yachting’s CEO, said: “BlackOrange is a dynamic independent company with a superyacht sales and charter business that, when partnering with Asia Yachting, will allow us to accelerate our strategic growth plans.”
The acquisition supplements Asia Yachting’s specialisation in luxury yacht dealership, brokerage, management and after-sales service in Asia with BlackOrange’s positioning as a renowned global boutique superyacht brokerage firm.
BlackOrange has had a strong year to date. Asia Yachting currently has over 150 luxury yacht listings and has sold 15 pre-owned boats this year. 888A 38m Azimut Grande Trideck is scheduled to be delivered in 2023.
BlackOrange sold 10 superyachts in the past 10 months including the 56m Benetti. Lady Candy. It has also brokered other sales and been appointed to market megayachts such as a 155m Lürssen and a 90m Lürssen.
