Fashion Bomb Couple Nelly and Ashanti attended 25th Annual Mark Twain Prize Red carpet Sunday evening at Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
Celebrities like Tiffany Haddish and Dave Chappelle were present at the event that honored Kevin Hart with an American Humor Award. Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, and Dave Chappelle also attended.
All eyes were on the hip-hop and R&B duo, Nelly and Ashanti as they arrived in matching black and white ensembles. Although many outlets have reported Ashanti allegedly being pregnant by the St. Louis tycoon, the couple has yet to drop the news or dispel the rumors.
Yet, they appear stronger and happier than ever. Ashanti chose to wear a silk Balenciaga black shirt, which cost $1,590, as a dress. She layered her look with a long black and white mink coat from Daniel’s Leather, and accessorized with black snake skin boots. Chanel was applied to her neck and a huge rock was visible on her ring-finger.

Nelly was dapper in a crisp, white shirt which he layered over a black velvet vest. He kept his style and paired formal wear with sequin embellished black trousers. The nicely trimmed hair and his signature diamond studs oversize framed the face perfectly.
It’s clear to see that Ashanti is glowing with Nelly by her side, and we couldn’t be more happy for the re-emergence of this fashionable love affair.
