Original, eccentric, and unconventional would best describe Kim Shui’s Fall ’24 collection that debuted at the Irving Plaza Friday evening, highlighting the ‘Year of the Dragon’ in honor of Lunar New Year.

Her 34 designs were characterized by many dragon-like elements, including the use leather, snakeskin and architectural silhouettes. Shui’s use of lace and mix-on prints as well as the incorporation of fur remained true to her brand.

She added textural gloves to her outfits and played with colors such as lime green and hot-pink.

Poppy Lissiman, Akila and other eye-catching sunglasses were all on display. Models looked completely different in their Poppy Lissiman or Akila shades. Not to mention the fur and scrappy heeled shoes that gave the look a modern edge.
